31st August - Florence announced that they have secured the loan signing of midfielder Danilo Cataldi from Lazio.

In a statement released on their official website, Florence club stated, "Florence club is delighted to announce that we have completed the loan signing of player Cataldi from Lazio. The player, born on 6th August 1994 in Rome, came through the youth academy at Lazio and has previously had loan spells at Crotone, Genoa, and Benevento. He has made 246 appearances for Lazio, scoring 10 goals, and has won the Italian Cup and Italian Super Cup with the club."

Cataldi, who was previously the vice-captain at Lazio, was reportedly unhappy after Ciro Immobile was appointed as the new captain following the departure of Marco Parolo. This led to conflicts with the club's management, ultimately resulting in him being discarded by Lazio.
